Teamwork Makes the Dream Work – Canine Communication & Handling Skills Level 1 Workshop
Saturday, Sep 16, 2017
9:30am – 3:30pm
Welcome to the first in the series of the Action 4 Dogs dog training school practical workshops run by Maxwell Muir
How would you feel if you could massively improve your communication and handling skills with your dog?
How would you feel if you had a deeper level of focus and cooperation from your dog?
The first in the series of Masterclass workshops will go right back to basics and focus on relationship building, taking your personal awareness to a whole new level, and empowering you with the necessary handling skills and knowledge to create a highly effective partnership between you and your dog.
There are 3 levels of Masterclass and you will have the opportunity as you progress through each one to try out your new skills outdoors in a variety of locations under supervision and guidance from your trainer. You will experience many social opportunities to practice and put your skills to the test in everyday environments away from the classroom setting. You will learn to take the sting out of stressful situations and focus on methods that create greater success. You will increase the amount of focus between you and your dog in daily life. This results in what is called the R.A.W. Factor, creating the ‘Right Attitude Within’ to succeed in the relationship with your dog.
What will the day consist of?
Good morning introductions – coffee & tea
Learning theory simplified / discussions / practical exercise indoors and directly outside the venue / feedback & support
What you will get:
Attendance certificate / new skills / social opportunities / increased confidence & stress reduction / personal assessment & support / supervision and guidance / learn to cultivate the R.A.W Factor /

Parking – There is an immediate car park outside the venue but we would ask spectators to please leave these spaces for handlers that they may have easy access to their dogs. Cars can also be parked in the adjacent streets around the village.
